This video for new students focuses on feeling at home not only in Paris but also as a student at AUP. We provide an overview of essential campus resources, including health coverage and information technology services, as well as tips about banking and setting up shop in the city. This video is designed to introduce new degree-seeking 国产三级片students, including freshmen and transfer students, to what makes an 国产三级片degree so special. Students will learn about the three main components of a bachelor鈥檚 degree from The American University of Paris, which will ensure that they start their new academic project strong. Students will聽also learn about the liberal arts style of education and get some tips on succeeding in this new educational and cultural environment. This video will introduce you to AUP鈥檚 signature Global Professional Skills Certificate Program. You鈥檒l learn what GPS is all about, why you should participate, and how you can sign up right away. You鈥檒l also learn about the perks of the GPS program including access to a suite of Design Thinking workshops to help you make the most of your time at 国产三级片and ensure you are prepared for life after AUP. Finally, you鈥檒l learn a little bit about how you can fulfill an academic requirement by participating in the GPS Program.
What does it mean for me to be a visiting student at an international liberal arts university in France? Students in this activity will complete a set of two readings and watch a brief video introducing them to the academic culture at 国产三级片and providing insight into the academic experiences that will characterize their time at AUP. Students will then complete a short writing exercise in which they will reflect upon the topics covered in the readings.
