Welcome to Film at AUP, an initiative where the art of film is celebrated as a central element of the University's global liberal arts education. At The American University of Paris, film is acknowledged not just as an academic discipline, but as a vital medium that bridges cultural divides, amplifies marginalized voices, and deepens our understanding of the world. It transcends the realm of entertainment, emerging as a significant tool for cultural translation and a means of connecting people across the globe. We aim to nurture a profound connection between our audiences, emerging filmmakers, and the culturally rich backdrop of Paris.

Congratulations, Arianna!
