Graduate Student Council – Who are we?
The aim of the GSC is to promote graduate student engagement in ¹ú²úÈý¼¶Æ¬events, communities, and experiences. By working with the Undergraduate Student Council and SGA, we hope to enact meaningful change on campus and in Paris at large by drawing from the rich pool of backgrounds and experiences that comprise our graduate programs. GSC is made up of representatives from the Global Communications, International Affairs, International Management, and Diplomacy and International Law graduate programs as well a Communications Director, Social Director, Vice President and President.
Our representatives in each of these positions are Eboni Graham (MAGC), John Kelley (MIA), Matthew Deller (MAIM), and Craig Simon (MAID). Alex Bilodeau is the Communications Director alongside Anna Chapman our Social Director. Fearlessly leading the charge, we have as Vice President, Will Bisbee, and President, Rosie Brand. This newly forged team of positive and forward-thinking individuals is brimming with energy and inspiration and is determined to make the most of what our Grad students have to offer ¹ú²úÈý¼¶Æ¬and what ¹ú²úÈý¼¶Æ¬has to offer our Grads. In the works: GSC is planning on having weekly Happy Hours and/or monthly Discover Paris Outings, we are collaborating with USC on ¹ú²úÈý¼¶Æ¬Gives Back week, occurring during the month of Thanksgiving, and we aim to set up November Networking events and some Design and Resource workshops for grad students to work on research and creative skills. We're also exploring a number of other collaborative projects with student clubs and events such as the Holiday Bash on December 8 and ¹ú²úÈý¼¶Æ¬Green.
