AUP’s student club, Baytna à Vous, has a great line-up of events and fundraising initiatives planned for this semester. Since Fall 2015, this club has contributed to helping refugees settle in both France and Europe through their tireless fundraising efforts and hands-on volunteering work with Syrian children and families in Paris.

Kids Workshops: An initiative that started in the Spring and continues to grow and prosper, the Kids Workshops enables Syrian refugee children an informal setting within which they use art therapy and other activities to help work through their emotions and the trauma they have experienced. The workshops also promote French culture and society through the use of French songs and cultural activities. Ƭstudents volunteer to help run these workshops alongside trained professionals and it is a wonderful experience in community building. These Workshops occur every 2 weeks and the next one is on Saturday November 5. The last one will be on December 17th.
Meetings:
The BVSyria executive team holds meetings twice a month in order to organise, facilitate and improve their activism on campus through events planned for the semester.
