Ferrara, Mantua & Urbino – Italy Study Trip

Cost: €590 (includes round-trip air transportation, hotel accommodations with breakfast, on-site transportation, entrance fees, guided visits & lectures, professor’s trip costs and VAT) 

During this trip to Ferrara, Mantua and Urbino, students travel by bus to three major courtly cities of the Italian Renaissance. Highlights include Mantegna’s fabulous illusionism in the Camera degli Sposi and Giulio Romano’s Palazzo Te in Mantua; Este sites like the Castello Estense, Palazzo Schifanoia and the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara; and the Ducal Palace of Federico da Montefeltro in Urbino with, in particular, its extraordinary woodwork studio.
