DocuSign is an e-signature provider that offer solutions based on digital signature technology, make it easy to digitally sign documents. They provide an interface for sending and signing documents online with appropriate authorities and digital certificates.

The DocuSign service in ��Ƭis implemented with an isolated account (organization) structure to ensure data security and privacy.

DocuSign Service Management for Administrative Units

DocuSign is available on demand for administrative units needing reliable and secure electronic signature capabilities.

Here’s an outline of roles and responsibilities to ensure effective setup and ongoing management:

ITS Support
- The ITS team will facilitate the initial DocuSign setup, oversee integration with university systems, and provide periodic updates to support efficient operation.
Department Responsibilities
- Each administrative unit manages the day-to-day functionality of DocuSign, including custom branding, user configuration, account maintenance, and general administration.
Administrator Setup
- Departments must designate two administrators. One administrator will complete the initial account setup, and the primary administrator will add a second administrator to support ongoing account management.

Lockdown Browser

LockDown Browser is designed to maintain the integrity of online examinations given via Blackboard, by preventing browsing and external application access during tests. Lockdown Browser ensures a secure and focused testing environment by restricting all unauthorized internet and software activities.

By using the LockDown Browser option, you can set up an exam so that students are unable to use any other website at the same time (or have access to specific websites of your choosing). You can optionally use the Respondus Proctoring option in LockDown Browser to create a secure test-taking environment, even for assignments that students can complete outside of the classroom. Options for the Respondus LockDown Proctoring environment require the use of a webcam, and can optionally include various features that help ensure that students can only access the exam and allowed materials.

LockDown Browser is software that you install on your laptop or tablet (iPad), so to install it, you’ll need administrative rights on the computer you want to use it on. The Lockdown Browser takes the place of a student’s regular browser. The browser can be installed by students on their own laptops or iPads, or if a student needs to borrow a laptop from the Navigation Desk, it can be installed on the laptop by ��ƬIT Services staff upon request.

Zoom is a video conferencing and online meeting platform that enables users to connect and meet remotely. It offers a range of features for virtual meetings and communication. With Zoom, users can participate in video conferencing from various devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.

Please note that Zoom is not AUP's main conferencing tool. The main conferencing tool in AUP is Microsoft Teams. Limited Zoom licenses are available for board meetings and the President's office on demand.

Screen Sharing: Share screens to collaborate on documents, presentations, and other content.
Audio Conferencing: Join meetings using telephone or computer audio.

Recording and Transcription: Record meetings for later review and access automated transcription services.
Virtual Backgrounds: Customize video backgrounds with images.
